Better way late than never?
Because of recent events--my week-long hospital stay, to be specific--it has taken me a very long time to post this handful of photos I took at the last race at Stead. My apologies on this. Please believe when I tell you that I am determined to prevent any more hospital stays from interfering with this blog's regularly scheduled programming.
For some reason, these are mostly mini photos, so please enjoy, parents and kids.

yo robert i was flagging that part of the track were zach went down the day before . being a 40 year veteran of motocross ive seen just about everthing.i disagree with you in that motocross is challenging in every way and that was a option he (zach) took he cleared it 20+ times the day before. mustang is one of the top five tracks ive been privalaged to ride on. shane + crew are to be congadulated on a outstanding facility. p.s. you could hit that on your old 480. rc 8

Hi Rick,
Thanks for the encouragement on the 480. As for Zach, I do think the responsibility is on him for trying the double, though I wish that they had designed the jump to be just a little less punishing to those that miscalculate. There isn't much that a kid who comes up short can do on that sort of jump--he's going to go for a nasty ride, as we saw with Zach.
And I also think Mustang is a good track--I just wish they used a little more discretion in building that particular jump.
Robert
