Bobby Garrison has been one of the riders to watch in northern Nevada for some time now, and he just keeps getting faster. Since making the 125cc field at the Washougal national last year, Garrison has taken on the AMA supercross circuit, qualifying for the 125cc night program at both San Francisco and Anaheim 3. Although he has yet to make the 125cc main, he will be returning to the series with exactly that goal when the series returns to the west in April. After taking all four moto wins at round three of the MX West Spring Series in Carson City, Garrison talked a little about his recent successes, and his plans for the rest of the season.
How did you feel today?
How has following the supercross tour helped your riding?
Does it seem easier here after you’ve come off those tracks?
Making the night program in supercross this year hasn’t been easy, but you started making it toward the end of the west coast swing. What are your goals for the rest of the races?
What makes the difference between the top guys and the rest of the pack in supercross?
What does the rest of the year look like for you?
What sponsors are going to be helping you?
Thanks, Bobby.

Catching Up with Bobby Garrison
March 6, 2005
I felt good. The track was smooth, and the rhythm section was fun. It all came out pretty good.
Well, my timing’s a little bit better now, and I try to keep it low on every jump, while staying under control, too.
It does, actually. The jumps and everything are really different at a supercross, compared to when I come back here.
Well, I’d like to make the main, at least, at one of the next two. I definitely want to make the night show, but the goal is the main.
Probably experience and track time. It’s hard to get on the track when you don’t have anywhere to ride like that. And those guys obviously have a lot of time (on those tracks.)
I want to do the last two supercrosses, and I’m going to do all of the outdoor nationals on a 450.
Big Valley Honda, Race Tech, Maxxis, M2R, Pro-X, No Fear, Scott, Oxtar, Number Technologies, and Ironman Sprockets.
Sure.
