While hanging out at the races is always fun, it's well-known that bench racing is a dish best served with pizza, beer, and MX videos. So Layne Kolbet, BVH parts guru and humble MX West board member, got the northern Nevada motocross crew together Tuesday evening for the first-ever Motocross Night at Sparky's Sports Bar in Sparks.

Attendees had the privilege of taking part in a swag-loaded raffle, watching Travis Pastrana and friends find new ways to risk their health on the big screen, and socializing with all of the local race scene's usual suspects.

Those who missed it should mark their calendar for the next MX night. After all, it's not often that everyone gets to socialize without their boots on.
